I think this is super interesting! Also, as a user of both apps, I am excited about this integration. There have been times where I wished my Hipstamatic print could be posted in Instagram the way I took it. It never was that smooth. I am curious to see how this takes off as well as excited.
Although, I hope they do not spread themselves too thin by offering too many integrations. As the CEO mentions in this article they want their users “to express their creativity”. I think keeping it easy to use and some integration will keep the Instagram concepts and brand its very own. I think sometimes with the world of apps and Internet we forget that simple is good. Too many options could lead to an overwhelming consumer experience. No matter what this current partnership will be good and exciting. We shall see how it all develops.
